The Big Sports Breakfast- is the only all-sports breakfast programme in Sydney. Terry Kennedy and Michael Slater from 5:30am Monday to Friday sate the appetites of sports lovers with a fast-moving and informative cavalcade of progress scores and results of events in Australia and overseas. Experts from all corners of the globe keep listeners informed with expert analysis on all-brands of sport. Additionally, there are news bulletins, traffic reports and the rail network service.
Punters Post Mortem – Terry Kennedy is joined by Ron Dufficy and Deane Lester for this Monday (9am to 10am) review of the racing highlights from the previous weekend. Under Terry’s astute guidance, Ron and Dean give their expert opinions on the winners, losers and those that should have won. It is a slick and smooth racing review and a valuable guide to future winners.
Racing HQ - the latest innovation to the Sky Sports Radio line-up. A fast-moving and up-to-date hour from 9am when host by Andrew Bensley, the busiest news hound in racing, keeps his audience ahead of the rest with a quick-fire procession of news, views, previews and interviews. Bensley prides himself on the sobriquet of Hoss and he guarantees to unearth a bonanza of the latest racing information.
FOOTBALL AT FIVE
Andrew Paschalidis is the presenter of FOOTBALL AT FIVE. He has been part of the Big Sports Breakfast team for six years and has an association with Sky Sports Radio stretching back to the mid 90's.
The show itself brings together the latest news and highlights from Europe and Australia with a strong emphasis on the English Premier League, Serie A and La Liga in Spain. There's live interviews with many of the Aussies based in Europe as well as LIVE score updates during the half hour.
Inside Running - another platform for Andrew Bensley. From 6:30 am every Saturday and national public holiday he will host five and a half hours of punter-friendly information. Every racing enthusiast aims to win and Bensley aims to provide all of the latest information to make the tricky task easier. An array of authorities will give their views as an invaluable adjunct to revealing interviews with key jockeys and trainers.
Sports Sunday from 7am to 10am adds another dimension to weekend radio. Jimmy Smith hosts the revitalized three hours that now include a dedicated racing segment featuring Daily Telegraph racing editor, Ray Thomas, and the ubiquitous and unconventional Tommy from Campbelltown. A comprehensive wrap of the Saturday races and authoritative comment on major racing issues is a must for the big and small punters. Each week Tommy also reveals the jockey recipient of his controversial “Compass” award. From 8am the renowned and revered decibel duo, Peter “Zorba” Peters and Greg Hollywood Hartley tackle the National Rugby League season. It’s a no-holds-barred barrage of the good, the bad and the ugly. During the rugby league off-season Sports Sunday continues with the racing segment supplemented by a comprehensive coverage of general sport.
Premier League – for fans of football this is a must. All of the action from the English Premier League is on seven days a week. Live broadcasts, previews, reviews, highlights packages plus interviews with the key players comprises this comprehensive coverage. The authoritative Andy Paschalidis is the host and he is one of the top authorities on the game. His aim is to give listeners a premier football programme and he kicks a winning goal daily.
